Mothers Day 2013

Mothers Day is just around the corner.

If you not yet gotten anything for your Mum you better get in quick! 

I can take orders up until the 28th of April but stock is limited.

Remember, $1 of any piece of metal jewellery that is stamped with the breast cancer ribbon and, until Mothers Day, 10% of any wooden craft purchase will be added to my Mothers Day Classic donation.

This is the first Mothers Day Classic to be run in my area, I plan to participate and donate to the cause in the coming years.

Mothers Day Classic 2013

Hello lovely people

This year I am participating in the Mothers Day Classic.

All money raised at the event is donated to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, which is also going to be where my donation for the year will be going.

Why? I have lost someone very close to my heart because of cancer. Breast cancer is the most common cancer for women to be diagnosed with, 1 in 8 women will have it during their lifetime and, although a lot less, 1 in 688 men will develop breast cancer. It is common, if the breast cancer goes undiagnosed for whatever reason, for the cancer to spread to other parts of the body. If left too long, it could be to late. 

It is for this reason I have chosen the National Breast Cancer Foundation. They are funding the researching for a cure and, better yet, prevention. This could save many lives.

Remember, $1 of any piece of metal jewellery that is stamped with the breast cancer ribbon is added to my donation total. 

And from now until Mothers Day, which is the 12th of May, 10% of any wooden craft purchase will also be added to my donation. 

So if you were planning on getting a stamped piece of jewellery, why not add a ribbon?

Family for a Cause

Long time. No Posts. SORRY!

Well I hope everyone is enjoying 2013 so far!

I certainly am, with my schooling starting up again and so many new tasks to keep me busy, this year is already looking like it will be a good one.

So the newest thing I have to show to you, if you haven't seen on the Facebook page, is wooden crafts. The picture below is the latest photo to be uploaded to the page.

From the 1st of February until the 31st of March, anyone who orders the word 'Family' with names or words will get 10% off and another 5% will go towards my end of year charity donation, the charity of which will be receiving this years donation is yet to be decided.
